Happy Campers Game Day 1

Teacher Appreciation Week is underway, and our first “Happy Campers” game was a hit! Teachers and staff started the morning with two necklaces each and spent the day challenging one another to intense rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Necklaces were constantly changing hands as friendly competition spread throughout the school!

It all came down to a very exciting finish. Within the last five minutes of the game, Mrs. Leaver made a determined effort to reclaim some of her previously lost necklaces during a battle against Mrs. Hicken, but came up just short. Then, with only TWO minutes left, a huge collection of necklaces moved rapidly from Ms. Lucy, to Mr. Caleb, and then from Mr. Caleb to Mr. Nathan in a dramatic final push!

But in the end, it still wasn’t enough to catch Mrs. Wright, who finished the day on top with a lead of five necklaces! Rumor has it she spent the night before googling Rock, Paper, Scissors probabilities… and apparently, it paid off.

Congratulations to Mrs. Wright for being our first game winner! Most importantly, we hope all of our teachers and staff had a fun day filled with laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. Thank you for all you do for our students each and every day!
