At Cook Elementary, we are working hard to show our ROARS every day! ROARS stands for Respectful, On-Task, Achieving, Responsible, and Safe — the five traits that help our school be a great place to learn and grow.
When classes show their ROARS, they can earn a ROARS card from any adult in the building. Each class sets a goal for how many cards they want to earn and chooses a special reward to celebrate their teamwork!
For example, Mrs. Beckman’s class set a goal to earn 25 ROARS cards. Their reward was a fun read-a-thon where they built reading forts in their classroom!
Be sure to ask your student how they have earned ROARS cards and what their class goal is. Let’s keep showing our ROARS all around the school!
