In recognition of the National Day of Service, several classes at Cook Elementary took part in meaningful projects to show appreciation for our community heroes.
One class wrote heartfelt “Thank You” letters to members of the military, while another class created notes of gratitude and a poster for the Syracuse Police Department. After school, students and their families from that class even delivered the notes along with some special treats to say thank you in person.
We are so proud of our students for their kindness and thoughtful actions. At Cook Elementary, we believe in showing appreciation to those who help keep our community safe. We are growing in knowledge and rooted in kindness.
